JJ's Reward And Benefits Package

Investment in development
We encourage our employees to undertake learning and development opportunities and this could mean through a professional qualification, which benefits the business and the individual. This may include assisting with costs of that training.
Car parking
We provide free car parking for employees on all our sites.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships aren’t just for school leavers joining our business – we may also use apprenticeships to upskill our current employees with an array of qualifications.
Internships
As a business, we proud of how many internships we’ve had. It’s a great way for those people to get experience of our sector and see how we operate. Universities/students will often get in touch with us and we’ll offer an internship where its required.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
The EAP service offers our employees independent, free, confidential support and advice 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. From legal and financial information to telephone counselling – this great service is available to all our employees should they need it.

Cycle to Work
This year, cycling to work or to get around has become ever so popular! Whether our employees want a new bike, equipment or both, top of the range or new starter, the Cycle to Work scheme will save them either 32% or 42% on the total cost.
Refreshments
At JJ’s, we love to look after our employees. For this reason, we provide our employees free tea and coffee at every branch. We also either have a subsidised canteen or free food area with vending machines at all sites.
Free eye tests
For all our computer or VDU users, they are entitled to a free eye test at any Specsavers branch.

Annual leave
All employees can accrue up to 26 holidays per year, plus bank holidays!
Unpaid leave
There are always going to be circumstances when our employees need to take emergency leave, outside of their holiday allowance. For this reason, the line manager may approve unpaid leave when required.
Family leave
Employees may be entitled to maternity/paternity/adoption leave and we pay in accordance with the current statutory provisions.
Flexible working
Flexible working is available to employees, dependent upon job role and at the Line Managers discretion.
Charity days/events
We’re a very charitable bunch! We love to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day, Wear it Pink for Cancer Research, etc. There are always charity events happening within our branches for things like employee collections and sponsorships.

Money - we help employees take control of their finances and save money along the way.

Pension
All employees are auto enrolled into the pension. The scheme enables employees to save for their retirement using their own money, together with tax relief and contributions from the company.

We also provide all employees access to the JJ Family Rewards site to be able to save money from hundreds of retailers and grab a bargain!
