Natasha’s Law: What You Need to Know
Updated: 23 February, 2024
As of October 1st, 2021, Natasha’s Law comes into effect. This requires food retailers to display all ingredients and allergens on foods made on the premises and pre-packed for direct sale.
Following the death of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse in 2016, after consuming a baguette which did not clearly display the list of ingredients, this change in law is an important issue for a growing number of consumers who suffer from allergies.
At JJ Foodservice, we would like to reassure our customers that all ingredients are clearly listed on our website, with allergens highlighted in bold to make it easier for companies to communicate this information to their consumers.
If you require additional information regarding a specific product, we are here to help. Please feel free to contact our customer services team who will be happy to provide further information.
The Natasha’s Law website contains in-depth information about the legislation and can be found at https://natashas-law.com/.
