A new 10pm curfew for restaurants and pubs was recently announced in the face of rising coronavirus infections.
But some restaurants have been left confused about what they can and cannot do. So, here’s exactly what the new rules mean…
Restaurants can still offer a food delivery or a drive thru collection service after 10pm
What the Rules Mean for You
  1. Restaurants and pubs can continue to sell food after 10pm as long as it is through a delivery service or drive-thru.
  2. Customers ‘eating in’ must eat and drink at a table.
  3. Customers and staff must wear face coverings, apart from when they are eating or drinking.
  4. Group bookings are limited to a maximum of six.
  5. Businesses need to display the official NHS QR code ‘check in’ posters
  6. Restaurants can refuse entry to customers who refuse to provide NHS Test and Trace data.
