Partnerships
Through its trading relationships
with Microsoft, Dell and Cisco JJ has
created its own bespoke systems
that enable it to run the company
without restrictions.
JJ continuously analyse every
aspect regarding operational
procedures of the company - from
order processing, stock control and
credit control to detailed analysis of
diesel consumption and energy
reduction opportunities.

Telephone System
JJ Telephone System recognises
incoming call telephone numbers,
and routes calls accordingly.
Drivers Hand Held Device
JJ drivers now use the Hand-Held
Invoicing system.
This is a paperless
system which will download all
routes and invoices to their device.
Road Routing System
JJ road routing system has
reduced delivery miles by 20%.
55,000 miles per year have been
saved by use of this system in the
Derbyshire county along with
utilising three local depots rather
then depending on one large depot.
Online Ordering
JJ introduced Online Ordering in
January 2009. Within 6 months it
accounted for 37% of all JJ sales.
We believe that the JJ Online
Ordering System will account for
over 60% of our sales by 2012.
JJ will continue to invest in
systems that simplify our
business and save money for
our customers.
JJ Truck Fleet
JJ has purchased a brand new fleet
of HGV trucks that meet Euro V
standards.
These trucks will emit 80 percent
fewer particulates and 50 percent
less nitrogen oxide than trucks that
are operating under the current
Euro III legislation.
In July 2009 JJ converted a 2002
Isuzu 7.5 tonne vehicle, which was
at the end of its working life, into a
Multi-Temperature Zero Emissions
Electric Vehicle.
JJ will continue to develop this
technology of recycling its trucks to
create more Zero Emission Vehicles.
Fully Self-Sufficient
Being completely self-sufficient,
JJ incorporates its own generator
in the event of power failure, a
68,000-litre fuel tank in case of
fuel shortages, vehicle
maintenance unit to fully repair
and service our fleet of trucks,
immense storage space for
backing up electronic data and a
dual telephone system in case of
an exchange fail.
JJ in-house design team
manage all aspects of the
companies media activities.
